TWI and LATTC recently hosted one of the largest rail conglomerates in the world. CRRC has expressed interest in partnering with Los Angeles Trade-Technical College and TWI (the only U.S. federal transportation institute, based at a community college). CRRC demonstrated an Energy Transfer Unit, which will be donated to the college and will help to build the Rail Technology Program.

The audience for the event included participants in the LATTC Metro JAC Program, high school academy students, LATTC Advanced Transportation and Manufacturing Students, key faculty members, Jess Guerra, the Director of the Transportation Workforce Institute, and Leticia Barajas, the Vice President of LATTC and a key advisor to TWI.

The event proved to be an excellent learning opportunity for all, especially those who go hands-on experience with reassembling the Energy Transfer Unit. The partnership is off to an excellent start!
